Let’s look a bit closer at the home stadium of Bayern Munich. The Allianz Arena is still a “baby” compared to other European super stadiums. It was opened on 30 May 2005, its age can therefore be counted on the fingers of both hands. Yet, over such a short time the arena witnessed many football events. It hosted the 2006 World Cup or the recent final match of the Champions League, which will bring many more sleepless nights to some members of the Bayern management.
